Garden and Life is facilitated by The Institute of Rural and Community Development NPC (PBO: 93004174), which was established in 2012.
The role of the IRCD is to facilitate community development through non-accredited training.The vehicle for the development is Garden and Life through various community focused campaigns. The IRCD provides mechanisms to improve the quality of living of individuals in rural and peri-urban communities throughout Africa.
It does this by utilizing farming technologies that provide environmentally friendly solutions as well as administrative support, regular monitoring, evaluation, and supplementary training projects to ensure their sustainability.

This is done through the practical implementation of micro-farming training in rural and peri-urban communities throughout Africa.
